LOOK: J.J. Watt shares updates as supplies are delivered for Hurricane Harvey relief

A week ago, J.J. Watt shared a video on Twitter urging people to donate to the Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey relief. The goal was set at $200,000.

Seven days later, more than $18.5 million has been donated, most of which has been spent on purchasing supplies for victims of the natural disaster. Sunday night, Watt shared photos of the supplies and volunteers helping unload semi-trucks full of essential items. It was truly a great sight:

It’s pretty phenomenal that what’s simple goal of $200,000 has turned into $18.5 million in donations. Watt also said there were countless volunteers helping deliver the supplies in a tweet.
