LOOK: Wisconsin is wearing special ribbon decals for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

It’s September.

It’s football season.

But, September also means that it is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This month is important to many people across the world and Wisconsin is doing something to honor that.

During Saturday’s game against New Mexico, the Badgers will have a special ribbon decal on its helmet.

Some things are bigger than sports. This is one of them.

The Badgers game against the Lobos is scheduled for a noon start on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. The contest will be televised on BTN.

New Mexico started its season with a 62-30 win over Incarnate Wood.
