Isaac Guerendo is headed to Louisville after leaving Wisconsin. The talented RB has spent the last 5 years with the Badgers and will spend his last year of eligibility with the Cardinals.

Guerendo announced his destination via Twitter, along with a caption reading “new beginnings.”

Despite being third on the Badger depth chart, Guerendo still managed to amass 385 yards and 5 touchdowns on 64 carries this season. Guerendo’s 5 touchdowns were second-best on the team, only behind Second-Team All-B1G honoree Braelon Allen. His 6.0 yards per carry also led the team this season.

Guerendo was also a factor for the Badgers in the passing game and led all running backs with 115 receiving yards. The RB also had success as a kickoff returner, returning 19 kicks for 454 yards.

Guerendo won’t be the only new face in Louisville, as first-year head coach Jeff Brohm takes the helm. The RB has one year of eligibility remaining to play with the Cardinals.
