Buckle your seatbelts, folks. A home-and-home series between the B1G and SEC is coming.

On Monday, Wisconsin announced that it has scheduled a non-conference home-and-home series with perennial SEC power Alabama. The two teams last played in 2015 in a neutral site contest.

The scheduled meetings will be in 2024 and 2025:

  • Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 in Madison
  • Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025 in Tuscaloosa

It’s uncommon for Alabama to leave the South for a non-conference game, but Wisconsin was able to work out the home-and-home series. Even though those games are still several years out, they’ll be highly-anticipated matchups.

Wisconsin and Alabama have played two times, with the all-time series tied at 1-1. Wisconsin’s victory came in 1928 in Madison. Alabama won the 2015 game in Arlington, Texas 35-17.
