Melvin Gordan was not used a lot during Monday Night Football. After yet another close loss in front of a national television audience, the Denver Broncos are now sitting at 2-4 wondering where they go next.

One Bronco who is puzzled about why he isn’t been used more is the former Wisconsin Badger running back. Gordon is wondering why isn’t he getting the ball more especially with this Broncos offense struggling the way that they are.

In the middle of the game, Gordon was seemingly benched and not used in the second half.

“To tell you exactly what happened? I can’t tell you. Because I don’t know,” he said. “Na, no one mentioned anything to me.”

“Just waiting for my number to get called so I can go out there and help my teammates. It was a close game, I felt like I could’ve made a difference, but apparently not,” Gordon said.

Gordon, who rushed for 918 yards and 8 touchdowns last year, is barely being used. So far, he has only 201 yards this season and 1 touchdown.

It is baffling as to why the Broncos aren’t using him more often in their offense. If the team would use him more, it may help another former Badger Russell Wilson get out of his current slump.
