Melvin Gordon donates 20 pairs of shoulder pads to Wisconsin high school
Melvin Gordon may be off in Los Angeles playing for the Chargers now, but he hasn’t forgotten his time in Wisconsin, where he ran for 4,915 yards and 45 touchdowns in four years.
Now, he’s still giving back to the Wisconsin community, a community that has meant so much to him over the years.
As you can see in the tweet below, Gordon bought 20 pairs of shoulder pads for the Brookfield Central football team:
Huge shoutout and thank you to @Melvingordon25 for buying 20 shoulder pads for @BC_lancer_FB I’ve told thousands of people as great is he’s on the field, he’s even better off the field pic.twitter.com/Ssc7D7K5U9

Quality shoulder pads aren’t cheap, so it’s great that Gordon was able to take some of the burden off the high school.
Gordon is a classy guy, and this latest act of kindness shows that he continues to think of others. Now, the Brookfield players will be rooting for Gordon even more this fall.
