It was announced Friday afternoon that Wisconsin senior LB Ryan Connelly will miss the team’s bowl game against Miami due to injury.

That hurts the Badgers, of course, as Connelly was a key member of the defense. However, the bad luck from injuries isn’t solely coming from Wisconsin.

Miami is getting hit pretty hard as well:

Gerald Willis III, as Ralph Russo tweeted, is a second-team All-American this season. Due to a hand injury, he won’t be playing in the Pinstripe Bowl, either.

The senior lineman racked up 59 total tackles with 18 tackles for loss and 4 sacks. Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor will likely have an easier day running than expected, as holes will be easier to come by.
