Micah Potter has huge day, leads Wisconsin to win over Rutgers
It was the Micah Potter show in Madison on Sunday, and Wisconsin rode his big performance to a nice home victory over Rutgers in an important B1G clash.
Potter shot lights out on Sunday, scoring 18 points and grabbing nine rebounds in Wisconsin’s 79-71 win over Rutgers. He also had one assist and one block in the victory.
Not only was Potter on the verge of finishing with a double-double, he was also efficient shooting the basketball. Potter knocked down 6-of-8 shot attempts from the floor, including 4-of-5 shots from 3-point range. He also converted both of his free throw attempts.
Along with his hot shooting, Potter threw down a monstrous dunk in the second half of the game. Below are some highlights:

Wisconsin’s home victory is a huge boost for the team’s NCAA tournament hopes. The Badgers improved to 16-10 on the regular season and is 9-6 in B1G play. Wisconsin has now won four-straight games and five of its last six contests.
Nate Reuvers and Brevin Pritzl each scored 17 points for the Badgers in the win, while Brad Davison added 15.
