Next destination? Ex-Badger Jalen Berger visited B1G East program over Week 11
It has been around a month since Jalen Berger was dismissed from the Wisconsin football team, and the former 4-star prospect appears to be looking for his next destination.
Berger appeared in 3 games this season but was not active for the season opener vs. Penn State. His biggest game came against Eastern Michigan when he rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Berger was eventually dismissed from the program prior to the game against Army. It was a situation that head coach Paul Chryst did not have much interest in discussing as the team tried to move on.
Fans also know that Berger was in East Lansing for a visit to Michigan State over the weekend. On Monday, Berger tweeted out about his time with the Spartans and tagged MSU assistants Jensen Gebhardt, Saeed Khalif, and RBs coach William Peagler.
Had a great weekend over at Michigan State, thank you @CoachGebhardt @CoachKhalif @PeaglerWilliam 🤫 pic.twitter.com/O4LQWtY58p

By now, fans are well-aware of the impact of Wake Forest transfer Kenneth Walker III on the Spartan offense. Walker could return for 2022, but he continues to fly up draft boards and could elect for the NFL Draft after the end of the season.
Is Mel Tucker’s team looking for Berger to be another impact transfer for the Spartans?
