The Marcus Freeman era is starting off strong for No. 5 Notre Dame as they have a 28-14 over No. 9 Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl. A big reason for their commanding start for Oklahoma State is their efficient passing game led by former Wisconsin quarterback Jack Coan.

Coan is having an outstanding first half for Notre Dame by throwing for 24-of-33 completions for 342 yards and four touchdowns. He has thrown touchdowns to three different receivers against an Oklahoma State defense that ranks sixth in the nation in points allowed per game (16.8) and sixth in passing yards allowed per game (160.5).

The run defense for Oklahoma State has been stout as they have held Notre Dame to only 16 yards on 14 carries. Even with Notre Dame being one-dimensional on offense, they are in great shape behind the tremendous playmaking abilities.

This is only the second-time in his career that Coan has thrown for four touchdowns in a game. The first-time was in Week 1 in the 41-38 win over Florida State.

Here’s a look at some of Coan’s highlights:
