Each year, the Rimington Trophy is given to the nation’s top center. You heard that right — the top center.
This award goes to a phenomenal offensive lineman. Yep, offensive lineman. We’re talking offensive lines here. So, when the three finalists were announced, should it come as a surprise as to what center from the Big Ten made it as a finalist?
Of course, the center from Wisconsin:

Seemingly every year, a Wisconsin offensive lineman is up for some highly prestigious award. The Badgers are just that good at that spot on the field. What’s more impressive is that Wisconsin doesn’t get the best of the best five-star prospects each year, either.
It comes down to recruiting the right player and coaching them appropriately.
Hats off to not only Tyler Biadasz for this, but to Wisconsin as well. The Rimington Trophy Presentation is set to take place on January 18, 2020.
