Recruiting cycle is in full effect for coaches as the Early Signing Period is this week and the transfer portal churns out more good players every day. Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst talked about recruiting with the media on Monday.

“You (bleep) just want players,” said Chryst, according to Jeff Potrykus of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“It’s all you need,” Chryst joked, according to Jeff Potrykus of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “That is the (bleep) story.”

Wisconsin notoriously does less with more as the Badgers recruiting classes rarely stand out. Wisconsin’s 2022 class is No. 44 nationally and N0. 11 in the B1G.

The Badgers only have 1 4-star commit in the upcoming 2022 class. The other 12 commits are all 3-star players. The 1 4-star commit they do have is go-figure an OL from the state of Wisconsin.

Wisconsin will play Arizona State in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 30 at 10:30 ET on ESPN.
