Wisconsin got a much-needed victory over No. 25 Purdue Saturday.

Now, the Badgers are gearing up to face a tough Iowa team next week. It’s certainly a big game for Paul Chryst’s group, especially since they’re now over .500 overall and 2-2 in B1G play.

But if you ask Chryst, every game’s a big game.

Seriously. Do you expect him to say anything else?

Wisconsin is on a 3-game winning streak after starting the season 1-4. The Badgers are now 2-2 in B1G play to move into a tie in the B1G West standings. The running game appears to have turned a corner, especially in the win over Purdue. Chez Mellusi and Braelon Allen combined for 289 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead Wisconsin to a 30-13 win.

It’s the first time Wisconsin has beaten a ranked team since Nov. 30, 2019 — snapping an 8-game losing streak against ranked opponents. We’ll see if it can turn into a winning streak next week against Iowa.
