Camp Randall Stadium won’t be rocking like it typically is on a weekend in the fall when Wisconsin’s football team is in town, but the athletic department is doing the best it can given the circumstances. That means plenty of former Badgers stars will be “in attendance” for Friday night’s opener against Illinois.
Hours before kickoff, Wisconsin shared photos of several cardboard cutouts that will occupy seats inside Camp Randall Stadium on Friday evening. Some of those who will be featured include former hoops stars Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker, former QB Russell Wilson, DE J.J. Watt and OL Joe Thomas.
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and Barstool Sports personality “Big Cat” will also have cutouts inside the stadium.
Kickoff between Wisconsin and Illinois is set for 8 p.m. ET. The game will air on Big Ten Network. Here are some of the cutouts shared by Wisconsin on Twitter:
