Week 2 ended up with a result much like Week 1 did for Wisconsin: a gaudy win.

The Badgers beat Western Kentucky 34-3 to start the season and then returned to Week 2 against New Mexico with a 45-14 victory. Against the Lobos, not everything went perfectly, but a 31-point win is a 31-point win.

Jonathan Taylor set a career-high rushing yardage total by garnering 253 yards on the ground on Saturday. He was worked heavily and delivered — as one might guess.

But what may have surprised some people was the play of the receivers from the Badgers. A.J. Taylor, in particular, stood out.

A.J. Taylor, a junior, caught 5 passes for 134 yards and 1 TD. He has 10 catches so far this season. Thanks to his performance against the Lobos, Pro Football Focus took notice:

For Week 3, both A.J. and Jonathan Taylor will have the chance to boost their stats some more as Wisconsin is set to play BYU at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.

The game will be televised on ABC.
