Rachad Wildgoose, former Wisconsin CB, signs NFL contract extension

Rachad Wildgoose, a former Wisconsin cornerback, received a 1-year contract extension for the 2023 season with the Washington Commanders Tuesday evening.
Wildgoose, who has a top 10 name in the NFL, saw an increase in snaps with the Commanders last season. appearing in 15 games with 3 pass deflections and 16 total tackles.

Wildgoose was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 6th round of the 2021 NFL Draft, though he never played a regular season snap in Buffalo. He was signed off the Bills’ practice squad by the New York Jets, appearing in 5 games.
He originally committed to Rutgers and Georgia before eventually ending up at Wisconsin, where he played 3 years before being drafted by the Bills.
