When Wisconsin takes the field at Camp Randall Stadium to open their 2021 season against Penn State, transfer Chez Mellusi will be behind quarterback Graham Mertz.
A shot of the Wisconsin depth chart was released Monday on Twitter, showing the Clemson transfer ahead of redshirt freshman, and Badgers top returning rusher, Jalen Berger.

The Badgers ranked eighth in the B1G last season in yards per carry (3.93) and seventh in yards rushing per game (164.6). The program has never finished below second in either category from 2017-19, and the backfield is fully aware of what is expected of them. The Badgers have a tradition of producing elite running backs, with 1999 Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne, Jonathan Taylor and Montee Ball.
Kickoff against Penn State is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday Sept. 4.
