Report: Badgers WR hits transfer portal after three seasons at Wisconsin
A Wisconsin wide receiver is planning to transfer after three seasons in Madison.
Rainer Sabin of the Detroit Free Press reported on Monday that redshirt sophomore receiver Taj Mustapha has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. He was a 3-star member of the Badgers’ 2018 recruiting class but didn’t see much playing time during his career.
Mustapha was not listed on Wisconsin’s spring roster. The Badgers are scheduled to close out spring ball on Friday.

Mustapha saw the most playing time during his freshman season in 2018, appearing in four games for the Badgers. He caught a 3-yard touchdown pass in Wisconsin’s 45-14 win over New Mexico in the second game of the 2018 campaign. It’s the only reception of his career.
In total, Mustapha has played in eight games, including three during the 2020 season. He has not recorded any statistics over the past two seasons.
At his next destination, Mustapha will have three years of eligibility remaining.
