A former Wisconsin football player and defensive lineman in the NFL is being accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a minor, according to a report from ESPN.

Thomas Allen Burke has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct in Minnesota. ESPN reports that a young girl told her mother of the repeated abuse in February. Burke  denies the accusation, per a criminal complaint.

Burke was held in the St. Louis County Jail in Minnesota and was held on $100,000 bail after being arrested on Friday. He was released on Monday after posting bail.

Burke played college football at Wisconsin from 1995-98 and set the conference’s single-season sack record at 22. He has been inducted into the University of Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame.

Burke then went on to play for the Arizona Cardinals from 1999-2002.
