Report: Wisconsin adds grad transfer CB from Kentucky

Wisconsin has reportedly picked up another transfer cornerback. Evan Flood of Badger247 is reporting that Kentucky transfer Cedrick Dort committed to play for Paul Chryst’s Badgers.

Dort will be taking advantage of the extra year offered by the NCAA’s blanket waiver for the 2020 season due to the pandemic. He was at UK for 5 seasons (2017-21), making 51 total tackles and 7 pass breakups. Dort recorded 19 tackles this season.
Dort is Wisconsin’s third cornerback transfer and fifth overall via the portal this offseason. The Badgers turned to the portal due to a lack of experienced depth after losing both starting corners.
