The Wisconsin men’s basketball team is expected to take an overseas trip to France, according to a report from Jeff Goodman of Stadium.

Per the report, the Badgers are scheduled to be in France from Aug. 7-17. It will serve as an opportunity for the team to play against competition at the highest level during the offseason.

Wisconsin ended the 2021-22 campaign with a 25-8 record, winning a share of the B1G title. The Badgers also reached the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the Round of 32.

Head coach Greg Gard will be entering his eighth year as the leader of the program with a 144-78 record during that stretch. He’s led the Badgers to a pair of B1G regular season titles (2020 and 2022) and has earned B1G Coach of the Year honors twice.

Wisconsin has appeared in four NCAA Tournaments under Gard’s leadership.
