Wisconsin men’s basketball will be going on a trip France this summer on their overseas tour according to Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Potrykus tweeted out the news on Thursday.

The Badgers will reportedly be playing in France from Aug. 7-17. There will be 4 games and 10 extra practices. Wisconsin’s head coach Greg Gard was asked about the opportunity for his team, stating that he and the team are very excited about it.

Wisconsin finished the 2021 season with a 54-49 loss in the NCAA Tournament to Iowa State. This could be an awesome chance for the Badgers to showcase their talent overseas if true. We’ll see if anymore details come out about this potential opportunity.

The 2022-2023 men’s college basketball season is slated to start on Nov. 8.
