Ricardo Hallman made sure the Wisconsin defense got in on the scoring fun against Rutgers.

It was all Badgers in the first half against the Scarlet Knights. Rutgers was threatening to cut into a 10-0 lead before the half. Hallman, a Wisconsin cornerback, not only ended the threat but managed to put more points on the board for Luke Fickell’s team.

The Scarlet Knights reached the Wisconsin 6-yard line on a 9-play, 69-yard drive. Hall picked off Rutgers QB Gavin Wimsatt and went back 95 yards. The extra point was good, making it 17-0 in Madison.

Wisconsin scored both of its touchdowns in the second quarter to notch a 17-0 lead at the break. A 6-play, 39-yard scoring drive was capped by a Braelon Allen 18-yard touchdown run.

At the start of the 3rd quarter, ESPN is giving Wisconsin a 95.3% chance to secure the B1G victory. Fans who aren’t in Camp Randall can watch the game on streaming platform Peacock.
