Ross Kolodziej, former Wisconsin DL coach, hired by Pac-12 program, per report
Wisconsin Badgers defensive line coach Ross Kolodziej has accepted the same job at Stanford, Action Network’s Brett McMurphy reported Thursday afternoon.
Kolodziej has built his name at Wisconsin as both a player and a coach. The former standout defensive tackle for the Badgers was drafted in the 7th round of the 2001 NFL Draft, playing in the NFL and other various leagues for 10 seasons before moving to coaching. He started at Wisconsin as a grad assistant before moving to Pitt and back to Madison in 2015.
He served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Badgers until 2020, where he took over as DL coach. Now, he will be moving on to warmer weather in the Pac-12 as Stanford’s DL coach.
