Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson injured his hamstring during the Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Chargers and has since been dealing with the injury.

On Wednesday during a press conference, the former Badgers QB stated that he is on the road to being back to full health all thanks to having ‘Wolverine blood.’

Wilson may possess special abilities, who knows. But, Wolverine blood? He didn’t reveal if he will be playing in Sunday’s game against the Jets.

However, Wilson was seen at Wednesday’s practice but is listed as ‘day-to-day’ for the Broncos on the injury report, per head coach Nathaniel Hackett.

Wilson, in his first season with the Broncos, has struggled to maintain the same energy as he did with the Seahawks offense. Wilson this season has thrown for 1,442 yards with 5 touchdowns and 3 interceptions, giving him a quarterback rating of 35.8.

It’s yet to be revealed if Wilson’s ‘wolverine blood’ will heal him quickly for Sunday or if second-string Brett Rypien will see some action.
