Russell Wilson is on a historic pace through the first nine seasons of his NFL career.

The former Wisconsin Badger is putting up eye-popping numbers in 2020, and his big game Sunday helped guide the Seattle Seahawks to 6-1 on the season. In the win, Wilson threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns, giving him 26 touchdowns in seven games on the year.

According to NFL Research, that number is the second-most touchdowns ever by a quarterback through the first seven games of a season. Tom Brady holds the mark with 27 touchdowns in the first seven games of a season:

As if those numbers are not impressive enough, Wilson tied Brady and Peyton Manning for two other all-time marks. With Sunday’s win, Wilson tied Manning for the most regular-season wins and Brady for the most wins, regular and postseason, in a quarterback’s first nine seasons.

What makes that accomplishment even more impressive is that Wilson still has nine more regular-season games on the schedule this year. Provided the Seahawks do not have any issues health-wise, Wilson could set that win record at a mark no quarterback will ever reach again.
