Russell Wilson played the first 10 seasons of his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks. Now, the star QB is preparing to face Seattle after getting traded in the offseason.

Since breaking into the league, Wilson has thrown for more than 37,000 yards and has a career record of 104-53-1. He is a 9-time Pro Bowler and has won one Super Bowl ring.

This offseason, the Denver Broncos gave up a large package of players and draft picks to bring in Wilson. Now, Wilson will not have to wait long to face his former team.

As a part of the NFL’s schedule release on Thursday, Denver revealed that the Broncos will head to Seattle in Week 1. That matchup will be a marquee Monday Night Football broadcast for the NFL.

The full impact of the trade will not be realized by either team in Week 1. Still, it will provide fans everywhere an early look at Wilson with his new team and offense.
