Talented Wisconsin OL commits to Badgers
Wisconsin has landed its seventh commitment of the 2020 recruiting class.
Tuesday night, three-star offensive lineman Tanor Bortolini gave his verbal pledge to the Badgers. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound guard is another in-state addition for Paul Chryst and Co. Bortolini made his announcement via Twitter.
“At this time I feel as if it’s in (my) best interest to commit to Wisconsin,” Bortolini wrote in a message.

Bortolini becomes the sixth Wisconsin native to give his commitment to the Badgers. That’s not uncommon in Madison, as a good chunk of in-state talent stays at home.
According to 247Sports, Bortolini is the No. 11 prospect out of the state of Wisconsin and is a top 75 offensive guard in the 2020 class. He received 17 offers, and chose the Badgers over Iowa, Air Force, Central Michigan, Miami (FL), Syracuse and Temple, among others.
With Bortolini’s commitment, Wisconsin’s 2020 class ranks 25th nationally and sits sixth in the B1G.
