Wisconsin will be without three players for Saturday’s game against Northwestern, according the team’s injury report that was released on Thursday.

Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel tweeted out a picture of the injury report from the Badgers on Thursday. Defensive lineman Bryson Williams will miss a third consecutive week with a left leg injury. Linebacker Leo Chenal will be out with a head injury and tight end Luke Benzchawel will also miss Saturday’s contest.

Wisconsin will also be without defensive backs Reggie Pearson and Eric Burrell for the first half of the game due to targeting penalties in last Saturday’s showdown with Michigan. Both players were ejected in the second half against the Wolverines.

The Badgers are 3-0 this season and are coming off a convincing 35-14 win over Michigan last weekend. They’ve also registered victories over USF and Central Michigan. Northwestern is 1-2 and lost 31-10 to Michigan State.

While Wisconsin owns a large all-time series advantage, the two teams have played fairly evenly over the last two decades. Since 2009, the Badgers and Wildcats have played eight times, with each winning four.
