T.J. Watt left the Pittsburgh Steelers game late with an injury. Pro Football Focus posted a video of Watt walking off the field.
Watt is coming off an incredible 2021 season where he led the NFL in sacks (22.5), and had the 5th-most forced fumbles (5). In the video, it looks like Watt was saying that he tore something and was clutching the area around his pectoral muscle.

Sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Steelers believe that Watt tore his pectoral, and that he will have scans on Monday to make sure.

This could be a huge blow for the Steelers, as they are going to be in a tough AFC North division from top to bottom this season. Watt missed a few games due to injury last season, but was still able to put up his dominant numbers.
Luckily for the Steelers, his injury is very early on in the year. The former Wisconsin LB’s impact will be missed by the Steelers if his injury is as severe as people say it is.
