TJ Watt made NFL history Sunday afternoon against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The former Wisconsin linebacker reached his 90th career sack on Sunday just 98 games into his NFL career. That’s the quickest it’s taken to reach 90 sacks since 2000, surpassing his brother, JJ and DeMarcus Ware.

Here’s Watt’s 90th sack. He fought through a receiver then made the right tackle look silly, forcing the ball out of QB Jake Browning’s hands. Cincinnati was able to recover the bouncing ball:

Watt has been an animal for Pittsburgh this season. He’s already sitting at 12.5 sacks on the year with 3 forced fumbles and 1 interception. He has 36 total tackles through 10 games this season.

The Steelers defense is one of the top units in the league thanks to Watt. Pittsburgh sits at 6-4 on the season, 3rd in the AFC North.
