TJ Watt is putting together another incredible season. On Sunday, he officially set a franchise record for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In Sunday’s game vs. the Tennessee Titans, Watt sacked quarterback Ryan Tannehill. That sack gives Watt 17 on the season, breaking his tie with James Harrison for the single-season record with Pittsburgh.

Watt finished Sunday’s game with 5 tackles, 1.5 TFL, 3 hits on the QB, and a sack. He also recovered a fumble.

Watt now holds the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 10th single-season sack marks in Steelers history in just his 5th season in the NFL. He is up to 66.5 career sacks.

Watt continues to lead the NFL in sacks with 17 and is up to 30 QB hits and 17.5 TFL. It will be interesting to see if he is able to pull in the Defensive Player of the Year Award.
