Wisconsin will be without two players during Saturday’s matchup against Michigan State in Madison.
On Thursday, Wisconsin updated its injury report and linebacker Leo Chenal and fullback Mason Stokke will both be out for the contest. Both are suffering from head injuries, according to the report out of Wisconsin.
Chenal, a freshman, has played in all five games for the Badgers this season, totaling 12 tackles with one sack and a fumble recovery on the year. The freshman had his biggest game against Kent State last Saturday, recording three stops, with the sack and fumble recovery in a 48-0 win.
Stokke has also appeared in all five games for the Badgers, and has taken five handoffs for 20 yards. He’s also been utilized as a key blocker throughout the season.
Wisconsin enters Saturday’s game against Michigan State with a perfect 5-0 record, with a 2-0 mark in the B1G. The Badgers have defeated Michigan and Northwestern in conference play.
The Spartans are 4-2 with a 2-1 record in the B1G. They are coming off a 34-10 loss to Ohio State.
