Wisconsin let go many of its staff members from Paul Chryst’s staff after the 2022 season came to an end.

Now, Luke Fickell is assembling his own coaching staff in Madison and former Wisconsin assistants are heading elsewhere.

Former Wisconsin WR coach Alvis Whitted, who had been on Chryst’s staff since 2020, is heading out west. Per Brandon Marcello of 247Sports, Whitted will serve in the same position on Utah’s staff under Kyle Whittingham in 2023:

Whitted has also spent time at UCLA, Colorado State and in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers before landing at Wisconsin.

How he fares at Utah remains to be seen, but the Utes are getting an assistant with some Pac-12 and NFL experience.
