Notre Dame leads the all-time series versus Wisconsin 8-6-2, with their last matchup being in 1964 with a 31-7 victory from the Fighting Irish. The last time both teams faced each other at a neutral site was in 1929 when Notre Dame won that game 19-0 in Soldier Field.

Wisconsin (1-1) is coming off a bye week on Saturday, while Notre Dame is coming off a 27-13 win over Purdue. The Badgers are looking to build some offensive rhythm after their 16-10 Week 1 loss to Penn State. Notre Dame looks to be more consistent on both sides of the ball after three struggle wins against Florida State, Toledo, and Purdue.

There will be a reunion this upcoming Saturday as Notre Dame quarterback Jack Coan will take on his former team in Wisconsin. Coan spent the first seasons of his career at Wisconsin before transferring to Notre Dame as a graduate student.
