If any coach can lead a team to an undefeated season, they will more than likely be up for or win coach of the year. Since, Wisconsin’s head man Paul Chryst led the Badgers to an undefeated regular season, he was named the B1G Coach of the Year on Thursday.

Wisconsin dominated all season long. Its closest win was eight points to Purdue. On Thursday, Chryst joined BTN to discuss the award.

Although Chryst won the honor, he is more worried about Wisconsin’s game against the Ohio State Buckeyes in the B1G Championship. If the Badgers win, they will undoubtedly make the College Football Playoffs this season.
