Wisconsin has entered the final month of the college football season with a perfect 8-0 record and ranked No. 9 in the College Football Playoff poll. Now, the Badgers are setting their sights on a division crown, a B1G championship and, potentially, a chance to compete for a national title.

Not all of that was on Paul Chryst’s mind when he met with the media on Thursday, but the Badgers’ head coach did have plenty to say about the success his team has enjoyed to this point in the season. While he never got too high on the 8-0 mark, he continually complimented his team for never looking to far ahead and blocking the outside noise.

“I always like this group,” Chryst said. “That’s what’s fun about each year, you got to put it together. I don’t get too involved in ‘what can we be?’ It’s ‘what are you willing to do’ and how you continue to grow.

“We didn’t go into that much, and I don’t think a lot of people did. That’s what I liked about the group. Yeah, everyone has confidence in themselves and confidence in our team. But you got to go out and do it week after week.”

In addition to talking about that, Chryst also touchdown on some injury news, saying that nearly everyone listed as “questionable” will make the trip to Bloomington on Saturday.
