WATCH: WKU trick play goes horribly wrong, results in Wisconsin INT
Sometimes trick plays work really well. Other times, they go horribly wrong.
Put Western Kentucky’s attempt at catching Wisconsin off guard in the latter of the two categories.
With the Hilltoppers threatening inside Badgers territory, WKU attempted a trick play to try and get into the end zone. But the reverse, wide-receiver pass didn’t go as planned. Instead, it resulted in a Wisconsin interception.

To be fair, Western Kentucky was trailing 27-3 and was trying to find the end zone at least once against the Badgers. Why not take a chance?
The Hilltoppers will have to go back to the drawing board the next time they try and fool an opponent.
