Jim Leonhard has a big task ahead of him to lead the Wisconsin Badgers as the interim head coach for the rest of 2022.

Leonhard opened up about the battle for Wisconsin moving forward in a video released by the team on Twitter:

“We believe in you guys to get it done. We’ve gotta find a way, we gotta play good football, we gotta make adjustments throughout the game, find any way to get it done,” said Leonhard. “We owe that to Coach Chryst, we owe that to each other…

“Ain’t no magic pill. We gotta play better football, we gotta execute, we gotta play as 11. We got what we got.”

Leonhard took over after Paul Chryst was fired as head coach of Wisconsin after the Badgers lost to Illinois 34-10 in Week 5. This was the third loss this season for Wisconsin.

The Badgers are preparing for its Week 6 road game versus Northwestern.
