What Paul Chryst said after Wisconsin's rivalry win over Iowa
Here comes Wisconsin?
The Badgers could be gearing up for a run at the B1G West title, especially after upsetting No. 9 Iowa 27-7 at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday afternoon. Wisconsin is now 3-2 in B1G play, which is tied with Iowa for second in the division behind 3-1 Minnesota.
It was the Graham Mertz Show for Wisconsin against Iowa. He threw for 104 yards on 11-of-22 passing and a touchdown in the air, and he scored 2 rushing touchdowns of his own. Freshman running back Braelon Allen rushed for 104 yards on 20 attempts to lead the run game, as well.
The Wisconsin defense, which has been playing well lately, also stepped up. The Badgers held the Hawkeyes to 156 total yards of offense, which continues a troubling trend for Brian Ferentz’s Iowa offense.
Badgers coach Paul Chryst addressed reporters after the game to talk about the performance and where his team sits in the standings. Here’s some of what he had to say:

Paul Chryst on the #Badgers overcoming the 1-3 start:
"I think their approach has been consistent. That's what I've appreciated. I think that's a group that values the day-to-day work that you have to put in."

Paul Chryst, a known lover of turnover props, asked if he knew about the "grit factory" hat that defenders were wearing after a turnover:
"I am now."
Adds that it fits this group.
