Wisconsin notched an impressive win on Saturday night, posting a come-from-behind victory over Iowa at Kinnick Stadium.
The Badgers knocked off the Hawkeyes 28-17 in Kinnick Stadium, but it was a game-winning drive from Alex Hornibrook that was the topic of conversation. With Wisconsin trailing 17-14 with about five minutes left in the game, the junior gunslinger led the offense on a 10-play, 88-yard drive, capped by a 17-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Taylor.
Wisconsin’s defense then intercepted a pass late in the game and scored a final touchdown for good measure.
After the win, Wisconsin improves to 3-1 on the year and is now 1-0 in B1G play. The victory gives Paul Chryst and the Badgers a leg up in the race in the B1G West.
