Who cares that Russell Wilson only spent one year in Madison?

The Super-Bowl winning quarterback still claims the Badgers as his own and vice versa. So the former Wisconsin quarterback jumped at the opportunity to deliver the commencement speech at graduation on Saturday.

As expected, Wilson crushed it. Maybe a little less expected was that Wisconsin busted out its famous “Jump Around” tradition 3/4 of the way through graduation.

Wilson got to be a part of it:

Well, maybe it shouldn’t have come as too much of a surprise. Wilson did call for the “Jump Around” about 30 seconds into his speech.

Here it is in its entirety:

Wilson’s speech was actually full of jokes and it didn’t come off rehearsed at all (in a good way). Somehow, Wilson had elements of his speech that he added on Saturday after meeting graduates in Madison. Just in case you weren’t already impressed with Wilson, Saturday should’ve driven that point home.
