Wisconsin will host FCS opponent South Dakota in 2024.

The announcement that the Coyotes will travel to Camp Randall Stadium came from USD this week. The game is scheduled for Sept. 21, 2024. The teams last met in 2011.

The Big Ten notably amended its non-conference schedule policy in 2017, allowing teams to schedule one FCS home game per season. Wisconsin now has three FCS opponents scheduled: Southern Illinois (2020), Illinois State (2022) and South Dakota (2024).

The Coyotes play in the Missouri Valley Conference. Last season, South Dakota defeated Nicholls in the first round of the FCS Playoffs, but fell to Sam Houston State in the second round.

The Wisconsin non-conference schedule is now completed through the 2024 season.
