Wisconsin has added another home-and-home series against a Power 5 opponent to its future schedules.

The school announced on Monday morning that Wisconsin and Utah have set the dates for future home-and-home series, which will be played during the 2028 and 2033 seasons. This is the latest in a major scheduling push by the Badgers, adding plenty of big-time opponents to the nonconference slates.

Here are the dates for the two games:

  • at Wisconsin: Sept. 16, 2028
  • at Utah: Sept. 10, 2033

With the addition of Utah to the schedule, Wisconsin now has the following Power 5 opponents on future schedules:

  • 2021: Notre Dame
  • 2022 & 2023: Washington State
  • 2024 & 2025: Alabama
  • 2026 & 2027: Pitt
  • 2028 & 2033: Utah
  • 2029 & 2030: UCLA
  • 2031 & 2032: Virginia Tech

Wisconsin and Utah have played three times with the Badgers owning the all-time series lead at 2-1. The most recent game came in 1996, a game the Badgers won 38-10. The two previous games were played in 1961 and 1987.

The Badgers finished the 2020 season with a 4-3 record.
