Wisconsin officially named Nate Letton as its next tight ends coach on Friday afternoon.

Letton previously coached tight ends under Luke Fickell at Cincinnati in 2022. He was also a graduate assistant for the Bearcats in 2021 and 2020.

“I’m excited to be at Wisconsin and help carry on the tradition of success at this program,” Letton said in a statement. “The tight ends room is known for developing really good players here and I’m eager to help our guys achieve the standard that has been set.”

Here’s the announcement:

Last season with the Bearcats, Letton coached 1st-team All-AAC tight end Josh Whyle. He finished the year with 32 catches for 326 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Letton replaces Gino Guidugli, who left his role of Wisconsin’s TE coach earlier this month to become the next QB coach at Notre Dame.
