Wisconsin assistant basketball coach Howard Moore has been transported back to the hospital after suffering from a medical emergency and cardiac arrest recently, the University of Wisconsin announced on Monday.

The school released a statement on Moore, who reportedly suffered a medical issue while at his home. While being transported to the hospital via ambulance, Moore underwent cardiac arrest and has been receiving care at the hospital.

Moore’s medical emergency comes a few months after he and his family was involved in an automobile accident that killed his wife and daughter. Moore and his son, Jerell, survived the accident.

According to the University of Wisconsin, Moore will be moving to a long-term care and rehabilitation facility. He will not coach for the Badgers during the 2019-20 basketball season.
