Wisconsin basketball is still in the process of rounding out its nonconference slate for the 2022-23 basketball season. On Wednesday, it was reported that the Badgers are adding a MAC opponent to the schedule.

According to analyst Rocco Miller, the Badgers will play Western Michigan in the Kohl Center. That game is set to be played Dec. 30.

If reporting holds true, this will be the 5th nonconference game on the schedule for Wisconsin. The Badgers will face Stanford at American Family Field, head to the Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis and face Wake Forest in the B1G/ACC Challenge

On Wednesday, it was announced that the Badgers will start the Battle 4 Atlantis bracket with a game against Dayton. That game is set for Nov. 23.

Here are the games so far confirmed on the nonconference slate:

  • Nov. 11 – vs. Stanford (Brew City Battle at American Family Field)
  • Nov. 23 – vs. Dayton (Battle 4 Atlantis)
  • Nov. 29 – vs. Wake Forest (B1G/ACC Challenge)
  • Dec. 3 – at Marquette
