Wisconsin has landed a commitment from a 6-foot-3 guard out of De Pere, Wisconsin.

Zach Kinziger is in the Class of 2025 and was recruited to the Badgers by Joe Krabbenhoft and Sharif Chambliss. He reportedly held offers from Toledo, Illinois State and UW-Green Bay.

The Badgers were the first high-major program to offer Kinziger – on June 29 — during their advanced camp, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal reported. Kinziger scored 19 points in De Pere’s 69-49 victory over Arrowhead in the state title game, is a long-time fan of the program as are members of his family. Brian Winchester, his high school coach, shared what he sees in Kinziger.

“When he steps onto the court, he thinks he can play with anybody,” Winchester said. “He loves to compete and there is a confidence there…Let’s go have at it and let’s come out on top. You see it year in and year out. Guys that make it or don’t make it. So much is the six inches between the ears.”
