Wisconsin basketball is gearing up for its next game against Georgia Tech on Wednesday.

First, the team announced they had released some interesting new uniforms. The catch is that these uniforms were designed by current players. Johnny Davis, Jordan Davis, Ben Carlson, Lorne Bowman II, and Tyler Wahl all had a part in the new alternate uniform designs.

The new designs have a ‘UW’ logo on the front with a red and white checkered pattern on the collar and sleeves of the jersey. There is also a logo on the back that has a badger in front of it. The logos and numbers on the jersey were outlined in red and filled in with white.

Here’s what the designs look like:

What do you think about the new jersey designs? Should more teams in college basketball start letting the players design jerseys?

The alternates will have to wait for the Badgers game against Marquette on Saturday. No. 23 Wisconsin (5-1) and Georgia Tech (5-1) meet in the B1G/ACC Challenge Wednesday at 9:15 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
