Wisconsin made a big addition to its 2024 recruiting class on Tuesday afternoon.

The Badgers earned a commitment from 3-star tight end Rob Booker II. He’s the 2nd tight end to join Wisconsin’s 2024 recruiting class so far.

Here’s his announcement:

“Lastly I’d like to thank all of the coaches who have recruited me up to this point and have given me a chance to be apart of their program,” Booker wrote in-part. “With that being said, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be furthering my football career at the University of Wisconsin and fulfilling a life-long dream of being a Badger.”

Booker is a Wisconsin native. He attends Waunakee High School in Waunakee, Wisconsin. He’s listed at 6-foot-6, 215 pounds.

In addition to Wisconsin, Booker had offers from programs like Minnesota, Michigan State, Iowa and Purdue, to name a few. He’s the No. 477 overall player and the No. 21 tight end in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 5 player from the state of Wisconsin in this class.

The Badgers are now up to 3 commitments in the class of 2024, with 1 of them being 4-star tight end Grant Stec. He chose the Badgers on Sunday.
